Paulo Câmara in Brazil for seminar and book launch

On the occasion of the celebration of the 40th anniversary of two of the main Brazilian laws relating to limited companies and securities markets, Paulo Câmara will be in Brazil to participate in the international seminar commemorating the "40 years of Laws 6.404/76 and 6.385/76”, which takes place on November 28 in São Paulo, and which include contributions from the leading Brazilian academics on the subject. 

The following day the SÉRVULO Managing Partner will host the launch of the book of the research group Governance Lab and which he coordinated “A Governação dos Bancos nos Sistemas Jurídicos Lusófonos” ("The Governance of Banks in Lusophone Legal Systems"), co-published with Almedina. This book, which was published in Portugal in April, has as its main objective the analysis in Lusophone countries of the recent developments in response to international progress in the corporate governance of banks. The book comprises a general part, which analyses the international trends in the field of the corporate governance of banks, and also includes a collection of articles analysing the jurisdictions of Angola, Cape Verde, Macao, Mozambique, Portugal, São Tomé e Príncipe and East Timor.
