SÉRVULO Managing Partner Paulo Câmara was interviewed by the magazine Exame on the new Legal Regime on the Supervision of Auditing, which entered into force on January 1, 2016. This regime transposed to national law a European directive and transferred powers to the Securities Market Commission (CMVM - Comissão do Mercado de Valores Mobiliário), which is the entity which is now responsible for supervising, registering and disciplining individual auditors and auditing companies.
