NEWS AND EVENTS 07 Sep 2016

On September 14, Pedro Fernández Sánchez and José Duarte Coimbra, associates of SÉRVULO's Public Law department  and lecturers at the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon, take part in the public debate conference on the Preliminary Draft of the Revision of the Public Contracts Code, organised by the Public Law Research Centre (CIDP - Centro de Investigação de Direito Público) of the Institute for Political Legal Sciences (ICJP - Instituto de Ciências Jurídico-Políticas) of the same Faculty.

The conference, which takes place on September 14 and 15, aims to inform on and critically analyse the main changes resulting from the Preliminary Draft of the Revision of the Public Contracts Code, and, therefore, to actively contribute to the public debate which is currently taking place and which ends on September 23. Pedro Fernández Sánchez will speak about the scope of the application of the PCC and excluded contracts, with a special focus on inter-administrative contracts, and José Duarte Coimbra will cover the changes to procedures, namely in what concerns planning of contracts, division into lots and preliminary consultations.

The conference is targeted at sector professionals, magistrates, lawyers, legal consultants, lecturers, researchers, students, and, more generally, at all those in central, institutional and enterprise, regional and local public administration or in the private sector who have an interest in or handle issues relating to Public Contracts Law.
