Prof. Sérvulo Correia participates in conference on recent decisions of the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea

On November 21 the conference “The recent decisions of the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea: especially the case “M/V Virgínia G” between the Republic of Panama and the Republic of Guinea-Bissau” (“As recentes decisões do Tribunal Internacional do Direito do Mar: o caso “M/V Virgínia G” entre a República do Panamá e a República da Guiné-Bissau em especial”) takes place at the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon.

The event boasts the participation of Prof. Sérvulo Correia, founding partner of SÉRVULO, who was an ad hoc judge, chosen by Guinea-Bissau, in the case “M/V Virgínia G” and whose intervention will focus on the organization of the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea and its process.

The presentation and discussion of the subjects covered in this conference aim to contribute to a better understanding of issues that are currently considered as being of renewed relevance for Portugal, namely the country’s sea activities.
