Francisco Mendes Correia and Miguel Brito Bastos take part in I Banking Conference at FDUL

The I Banking Conference takes place on December 16. The event focuses on the reform of the Legal Framework for Credit Institutions and Financial Companies, and is organised by the Private Law Research Centre (CIDP – Centro de Investigação de Direito Privado) of the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon (FDUL – Faculdade de Direito da Universidade de Lisboa)

SÉRVULO lawyers Francisco Mendes Correia and Miguel Brito Bastos will be two of the speakers at the event, with Mr Brito Bastos being the executive coordinator of the conference. Their papers will cover “The Single Supervisory Mechanism” and “The hybrid financial instruments after the CRD IV: especially CoCos”.

This conference arises from the need to analyse the practical impact of the recent changes introduced to Banking Law with Decree-Law 157/2014, of October 24.
