Lisbon host the first edition of ICC Iberian Arbitration Day

This Monday, Lisbon will be the stage of the first edition of ICC Iberian Arbitration Day. This initiative was jointly organized by International Court of Arbitration, ICC Spain and ICC Portugal.

The meeting will gather several Portuguese and Spanish specialists to debate and analyse themes such as the arbitration of disputes of construction; costs and financing by third parties in international arbitration; arbitration and issues of compliance, corruption allegations, determination of facts and sanctions; data protection, privacy, transparency and cyber-security in international arbitration.

Ana Serra Moura, the Court’s Assistant Secretary, and Juan Pablo Argentato, the ICC’s Counsellor of Court, as well as some of the actual members of the Court and its Secretariat, will be the speakers of the conference.

The conference will also have the participation, among others, of Filipe Vaz Pinto (partner at Morais Leitão), Marta Cruz de Almeida (litigation coordinator at Galp), Pedro Metello de Nápoles (partner at PLMJ), Ana Paula Reis (lawyer at CIMPOR), Joana Neves (associate at VdA), Teresa Anselmo Vaz (partner at SÉRVULO), Fernando Aguilar de Carvalho (partner at Uría Menéndez-Proença de Carvalho), Miguel Almada (partner at Cuatrecasas).
