Rui Medeiros and Rita Canas da Silva attend Congress on the European Convention on Human Rights and Additional Protocols

The Congress on the European Convention on Human Rights and the Additional Protocols will take place from 4 to 6 June, in Porto and Lisbon.

The Bar Association’s President, Guilherme Figueiredo, and Full Professor and European Court of Human Rights Judge, Paulo Pinto de Albuquerque, are jointly organising the congress. This initiative is part of the Commemorations of the 40th anniversary of Portugal's accession to the European Convention on Human Rights.

Rui Medeiros and Rita Canas da Silva, partners in SÉRVULO’s Public Law and Employment Law departments, respectively, will participate in this initiative on 6 June, at the Faculty of Law of the Catholic University in Lisbon. Rui Medeiros will chair the first panel “The Context of Convention I”, while Rita Canas da Silva will speak on the ECHR and the labour process, a contribution to the fifth panel, which is entitled  “Right to a Fair Process III - Other Processes”.
