Sérvulo celebrates 20 years with Conferences

The firm founded by José Manuel Sérvulo Correia and widely known as SÉRVULO is organising four conferences on the future of four major areas related to economic development, finance and justice in Portugal. The conferences will be held on 25 and 26 September, at the Palácio da Rocha Conde d'Óbidos, in Lisbon. The initiative is part of the celebrations for the firm’s 20 years in business.

One of the themes of the first conference, to be held on the 25th, is the Future of Public Procurement. Guest speakers include the mayor of Porto, Rui Moreira, and Galp’s non-executive director and former secretary of State for Tourism, Adolfo Mesquita Nunes, among others. On the same day, there will be a second conference on the “Future of Arbitration”, both private and administrative. Speakers include Paula Costa e Silva, and António Pinto Leite, President of the Portuguese Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s Arbitration Centre.

The first conference on the second day, which addresses the “Future of Investment”, will be opened by the CIP President, António Saraiva. The final conference focuses on the “Future of the Financial System”. CMVM director João Sousa Gião will give the opening speech and Banco de Portugal deputy governor Luís Máximo dos Santos will close the session.
