Sérvulo launches seminar series on Digital Economy

Mobile payments and e-commerce in the retail sector and Mobile banking/online banking: recent developments are the themes of the first seminars organised by Sérvulo & Associados within the context of the integrated legal support service for the Digital Economy, and which take place on April 15 and 22, respectively, between 9:00am and 11:30am at the Sérvulo offices in Lisbon.

Within each theme the seminars aim to analyse the main challenges and respective legal solutions using examples tailored for the activities of each sector in question, namely retail and banking, specifically in terms of mobile payments (Francisco Mendes Correia), data protection (David Silva Ramalho) and intellectual property (Patricia Akester). The first seminar, which is aimed at retail businesses, will also include an intervention on Mobile Wallets from João Pedro Duarte, Country Manager of SEQR.

A third seminar, aimed at public administration, is also foreseen, and it will close this first series of seminars on relevant themes relating to the digital economy.
