Francisco Mendes Correia

At SÉRVULO since 2013, Francisco Mendes Correia is currently Of Counsel of the firm’s Finance and Governance department. He concluded his PhD in Civil Law in 2015, and a Master’s in Law, with a specialisation in Corporate Law, in 2007, from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon; obtained a graduate qualification in EU Law from King’s College London, in 2012, and in Tax Management of Organisations, from the School of Economics and Management (ISEG - Instituto Superior de Economia e Gestão), in 2002. He has been a Lecturer at the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon since 2008. He was an associate at «Cuatrecasas, Gonçalves Pereira», between 2007 e 2011, and at «Belzuz Advogados – Sucursal em Portugal», from 2006 to 2007. He was Legal Counsel to the Coordination Department of the Technology Plan (Unidade de Coordenação do Plano Tecnológico), part of the Ministry of Economy, in 2005. Between 2005 and 2007 he practiced law as a free professional. He was an associate of the firm «Gonçalves Pereira, Castelo Branco e Associados», from 2003 to 2005. He joined the Bar Association in 2003. He is a regular speaker at conferences on Banking Law, Finance Law and Corporate Law.
