Urban Planning, Environmental Law and Real Estate
In the framework of public law Sérvulo has reinforced its commitment in the legal areas of urban planning and the environmental law, seeking constantly to cooperate in the increasing mechanisms and instruments of defence and qualification of natural resources. The soil is one of the most limited but also one of the most sought after natural resources and requires a decisive contribution from the law for optimum integrated management of the land use, whether by encouraging socio-economic development and quality of life or by preserving environmental quality. Together with water and air, the soil plays a core role in the natural cycles that support biodiversity. Urban planning is therefore an area of legal practice of considerable size and is not restricted to the field of the environment in its natural components: air, water, flora, fauna, soil and subsoil, or in its accompanying human components: landscape, natural and constructed heritage, and sources of pollution – noise, waste and water effluents. |
