NEWS AND EVENTS 22 May 2012

SÉRVULO lawyers Joana Pinto Monteiro and Jorge Silva Sampaio contributed to the book "Direito do Urbanismo e do Ordenamento do Território" (“Urbanism and Planning Law”), edited by Prof. Fernanda Paula Oliveira, and which is launched on May 24, at 6:30 pm at the Almedina bookshop in the Atrium Saldanha shopping centre.

The work is presented by Prof. Diogo Freitas do Amaral and by Prof. Paulo Correia, Portuguese State Secretary for Planning, and it brings together a collection of reflections on themes related to urbanism and planning law, said reflections being written by a variety of authors from different backgrounds, and by doing so it aims to enrich the discourse on the subject and to put urbanism and planning law on the agenda.

The forms of tourism occupation in the new regional plan for planning of the Algarve is the issue on which Joana Pinto Monteiro focuses, while Jorge Silva Sampaio contributes a piece on urban development contracts that include compensation schemes.
