Themes that will be discussed include the question of civil responsibility (Good Faith, loss of change, 'split the baby', competition of guilt, the perspectives of civil law and common law), the question of the quantifying of damages (with an innovative debate between two international arbitrators and two international specialists) and themes such as Arbitration and Criminality, Arbitration and Corporate Law, cross examination techniques, arbitrators’ civil and psychological liability in the arbitration decision.

The event ends with a gala dinner that will honour two arbitrators with distinguished careers, Professors Hermes Marcelo Huck and Sérvulo Correia.
