Seminars: Transposition of Public Procurement Directives

The first series of seminars of the Portuguese Association of Public Markets (APMEP - Associação Portuguesa dos Mercados Públicos) and of the Observatory for Engineering and Technology Prospecting (OPET - Observatório de Prospectiva da Engenharia e da Tecnologia) on the challenges to transposing the directives on public procurement published on March 28, 2014, takes place until November 2014 and will count Sérvulo Public Law partners Rui Medeiros and João Amaral e Almeida amongst its speakers.

João Amaral e Almeida will cover the subjects of award criteria and assessment model of proposals on September 18, and contract drafting procedures on September 24, both at the auditorium of ESPAP (Entidade de Serviços Partilhados da Administração Pública), in Alfragide. Rui Medeiros will cover the theme of execution of public contracts on October 29, seminar that takes place at the Catholic University of Portugal.

At the end of the series, a document will be drafted containing the main recommendations for the Government for the purposes of methodology and content to be taken into account in the transposition of these directives.
