Professor Sérvulo Correia awarded honorary doctorate

Professor Sérvulo Correia, founding member of SÉRVULO and Emeritus Professor of the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon, was yesterday awarded an honorary doctorate by the University of Athens. This is the highest honorary title granted by any university, and it was attributed to Professor Sérvulo Correia in recognition of his exemplary work and his unquestionable contribution to Administrative Law.

Professor Sérvulo Correia’s close connection to Greece is originally due to his participation in the foundation of the European Public Law Organization, an international academic network dedicated to legal research and critical reflection on public law matters, and this distinction consolidates the already high international regard in which Professor Sérvulo Correia’s academic and professional career is held, and it is a sign of recognition of his contribution to the development of the study of Administrative Law in Portugal and around the world.
