Professor Sérvulo Correia becomes laureate of European Public Law Organization

In its annual meeting, which took place in September in Spetses, in Greece, the European Public Law Organization made Professor Sérvulo Correia one of its laureates, the highest honour conferred by this organisation, in recognition for his contribution to the development of the legal sciences along the years.

Professor Sérvulo Correia, one of three new laureates this year, is founding partner of SÉRVULO and Emeritus Professor of the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon.

The other two new laureates were Professor Schmidt-Assmann, Emeritus Professor of the University of Heidelberg, and generally recognised as the most prominent specialist in administrative law alive in Germany, and Professor Gérard Timsit, Emeritus Professor of the University of Paris-I, and a renowned author in the field of the Theory of Law.

The European Public Law Organization was created 25 years ago, and it aggregates about 150 professors of Public Law, and some renowned judges and lawyers in this field.
