19 Leaders: What do you expect for 2019?

SÉRVULO IN THE PRESS 19 Feb 2019 in Advocatus

In an interview with Advocatus, Paulo Câmara, SÉRVULO's Managing Partner talks about the expectations for the year 2019:

- What is the anticipation for Portugal - focusing on investment?

"In addition to believing that Portugal will continue to be viewed as a safe harbour for international investment, it is important to work actively so that this trend does not disrupt in 2019. In this context, the continued attractiveness of foreign investment to Portugal depends on: i) promoting a systematic effort to reduce structural bureaucracy in matters affecting the business fabric; ii) greater stability in the tax system; (iii) proscription of domestic additions to European rules; iv) creation of a permanent strategic platform and v) improvement of the business financing environment."

- What do you expect from the law firm market?

“From SÉRVULO’s side, one of the most important milestones of the year is the integration of AVA - a company led by Teresa Anselmo Vaz -, with direct effect mainly in the areas of Corporate, Commercial and M & A and Intellectual Property and TMT, but also with reinforcements in Labor, Litigation and Urbanism departments. This will be an emblematic step in the firm’s path to growth. This will also be the year for commemoration of the 20 years of SÉRVULO’s activity, which we will try to mark with a cycle of public events to be announced soon."
