PADEL LAW 2016: lawyers join forces for fundraising tournament

The first Padel tournament organised exclusively for lawyers and other law firm employees takes place on May 21.
With the aim of combining the love of sports with the concern for social responsibility, a group of lawyers from different law firms got together to organise this charity sports event, Padel Law 2016, which aims at supporting the Portuguese Refugee Support Platform (PAR - Plataforma de Apoio aos Refugiados).
The tournament is open to players of all levels, and it takes place on May 21 (Saturday), at the Clube de Padel, in Lisbon, from 11am to 7pm.
Places are limited, and registration can be done until May 17 by filling in the form available on the event's Facebook page: www.facebook.com/padel.law2016, and by sending proof of payment (20 Euros per person) to padel.law2016@gmail.com.
Sixty people have already registered, including individual lawyers, to company in-house counsels, to lawyers and employees of a variety of Portuguese law firms, such as AAA Advogados, Abreu Advogados, CMS Rui Pena & Arnaut, Cuatrecasas, Ferreira Pinto & Associados, Garrigues, Gonçalves Pereira, Linklaters, MLGTS, PLMJ, PRA – Raposo, Sá Miranda & Associados, Sérvulo & Associados, SRS Advogados, Vasconcelos Arruda & Associados and Vieira de Almeida
