NEWS AND EVENTS 21 Feb 2020

Next February 24th, the Portuguese Securities and Exchange Commission (CMVM) will promote the initiative «Talks in CMVM» dedicated to the theme “The Financial Regulation in the 21st Century – simplification and development of the market”.

Rui Peres Jorge, the Director of the Strategic Analysis and Communication Bureau, will be the opening speaker. Paulo Câmara, partner at SÉRVULO’s Financial and Governance Department, will be responsible for the debate’s moderation between Marcelo Barbosa and Gabriela Figueiredo Dias, the Presidents of Brazilian (CVM) and Portuguese (CMVM) Capital Markets Regulators respectively.

This initiative promises to address the themes of regulatory simplification, the market’s development and to analyse the main challenges felt in both sides of the Atlantic, but in an informal environment.
