Pedro Silveira Borges participates in Panel at the Energy Transition Conference

Pedro Silveira Borges, partner at SÉRVULO in Corporate and M&A department, took part this morning in the Conference on Energy Transition, organised by PT Green Journal, where he joined the panel discussion “Capital for the Transition: How to Finance Decarbonisation”.

During the session, he highlighted the importance of ensuring a qualified and rigorous approach to projects linked to the energy transition: “Capability, professionalism and high standards are essential in the delivery of these processes, as they involve multi-million-euro projects that are of great importance to the Portuguese economy.”

The panel also featured Luís Ribeiro, Board Member of Novo Banco, and Luís Guimarães, Board Member of Banco de Fomento, and was moderated by Miguel Alexandre Ganhão, Director of PT50 Journal.

The conference brought together experts and representatives from public and private organisations to discuss the challenges and opportunities arising from the energy transition and the decarbonisation of the economy. The opening session was delivered by Maria da Graça Carvalho, Minister for the Environment and Energy. The programme also included contributions from Jorge Sousa, Board Member of ACER, Pedro Moreira da Silva, CEO of Charging, Basílio Simões, CEO of CleanWatts, Luís Rodrigues, COO of StartCampus, Miguel Faria, COO of Floene, Ana Calhões, Secretary-General of ABA – Advanced Bioenergy Association, and Humberto Loureiro, Senior Director of PMO for Portugal at EDP.
