SÉRVULO and APAV Renew Cooperation Protocol

SÉRVULO and APAV – Portuguese Association for Victim Support renewed, on 1 October, the cooperation protocol formalising a long-standing partnership between the two institutions, based on a shared commitment to promoting access to justice and protecting the rights of victims of crime.
Under this collaboration, SÉRVULO will continue to provide specialised legal assistance to beneficiaries referred by APAV, thereby maintaining a close cooperative relationship that has been in place since 2017.
The protocol signing was attended by Teresa Serra, of counsel and lawyer at SÉRVULO’s Criminal Law practiceas well as head of Social Responsability area, Carmen Rasquete, APAV’s Executive Director, and Frederico Moyano Marques, Technical Adviser to the Board and Operations Coordinator at APAV. Also present were partner Cláudia Amorim and associate Inês Pereira Lopes, both members of SÉRVULO’s Criminal Law team, which has been involved in a number of matters related to APAV’s activities.
The renewal of this partnership also reflects recognition of APAV’s work of significant social value over more than three decades in providing support, information and assistance to victims of crime. Through its daily work, the Association plays a fundamental role in safeguarding victims’ rights and promoting a fairer, more inclusive and more supportive society.
