SÉRVULO has a new shareholder structure and its first non-lawyer partner
NEWS AND EVENTS 05 May 2025
Maria da Luz Sérvulo Correia Oom, current General Director, is appointed as a non-lawyer partner.
As a part of strategic evolution and consolidating its leading position in the Portuguese legal sector, SÉRVULO adopted a new shareholder structure, with the transformation into a public limited company and the admission of non-professional partners.
This change marks a shift in the culture of services, bringing together new management skills, innovation and digital transformation to legal expertise.
Manuel Magalhães, Managing Partner of Sérvulo & Associados, believes that the management team, across its various departments, now has a level of sophistication that, combined with outstanding legal knowledge, offers a differentiated response to our clients’ needs.
By recognition of this increasingly professionalised structure, the aim of this transformation is precisely to open the firm's capital to its management teams. This is a step towards the eventual transformation of the firm into a multidisciplinary firm. This admission to partner comes as a natural recognition of the invaluable Maria da Luz Sérvulo Correia Oom’s contribution to the firm, having stood out as a strategic pillar for improving the efficiency and quality of the services we provide.
At SÉRVULO since 2003, the General-Director and partner, Maria da Luz Sérvulo Correia Oom, has led the firm's management strategy and internal and operational organisation. For more than 20 years, she has been committed to a competitive and innovative client-oriented strategy, with the support of highly specialised multidisciplinary teams.
