Sérvulo & Associados announces the promotion of Ana Moutinho Nascimento to Equity Partner and of Joana Pinto Monteiro to Partner, further reinforcing the firm’s commitment to recognising internal talent and to strengthening its strategic practice areas.

A member of SÉRVULO since 2014, Ana Moutinho Nascimento leads tax litigation within the Tax Department and has now been elected Equity Partner. With over 20 years’ experience advising on highly complex tax matters for both national and international clients, she is recognised by the leading legal directories for her expertise and in-depth knowledge of tax law.
She holds a Law degree from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon and postgraduate qualifications in Corporate Tax Management from IDEFE – Instituto Superior de Economia e Gestão, as well as in European Customs Law from the Faculty of Law of the Portuguese Catholic University. Ana Moutinho Nascimento has been an arbitrator at the Administrative Arbitration Centre since 2012 and is the author of several articles published in specialised legal journals.
Joana Pinto Monteiro has been elected Partner. A member of SÉRVULO’s Real Estate, Tourism and Urban Planning Department since 2011, she has extensive experience advising on real estate and tourism projects. Her practice also includes legal advisory work for entities in the insurance sector, as well as participation in the drafting of regulatory legislation in the fields of capital markets and banking law, particularly in Portuguese-speaking African countries.
She holds a Master’s degree in Law from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon, where she is currently preparing her PhD. She has been a Guest Lecturer since 2008 and teaches on several postgraduate programmes. In parallel, she is the author of various publications in the field of Real Estate Law and regularly participates as a speaker at conferences and academic initiatives.
