Sérvulo Correia, founding partner of SÉRVULO, will be one of the speakers at the conference on the challenges to the new maritime order, from a legal perspective, as part of that which is the largest international event dedicated to current issues on the sea, and which takes place on June 4, at FIL.

The next challenges faced by the courts in the law of the sea will be the theme of the panel which will include José Luís Jesus, Judge at ITLOS - International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea, as main speaker, Manuel Almeida Ribeiro, of the Portuguese International Law Association, as moderator, and will include interventions from, as well as Sérvulo Correia, Fernando Loureiro Bastos, of the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon, and Kate Parlett, of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP.

The conference, which is coordinated by Vasco Becker-Weinberg, is part of the initiative for strategic reflection called Blue Week, organised by the Portuguese Ministry for Agriculture and the Sea, and which is further inserted into an initiative with a business as well as a political outlook, taking place between June 2 and 6.
