VI National Congress on Electronic Public Procurement

On November 27, the 6th National Congress on Electronic Public Procurement takes place in Lisbon. The event is organised by the Observatory for Prospective Engineering and Technology (OPET - Observatório de Prospectiva da Engenharia e da Tecnologia) and by the Portuguese Association of Public Markets (APMEP - Associação Portuguesa de Mercados Públicos) in partnership with the Institute for Construction and Real Estate (InCI - Instituto da Construção e do Imobiliário).

Professor Sérvulo Correia, Emeritus Professor at the Law Faculty of the University of Lisbon and founding partner of Sérvulo & Associados, chairs the first session which will include contributions from Prof. Luís Valadares Tavares, congress organiser, professor at the Instituto Superior Técnico and director of APMEP, on the evolution of electronic public procurement and on related new directives, and from the President of the Court of Auditors, Councillor Guilherme d'Oliveira Martins.

The Congress is also an opportunity to discuss the recent Evolution of Electronic Public Procurement in Portugal within the context of the financial assistance programme, with interventions from a number of specialists, including Fernando Silva, Vice-President of InCI, and Rui Medeiros, professor at the Portuguese Catholic University and partner at Sérvulo & Associados.
