‘There must be stability and a clear regulatory framework for urban licensing,’ argues Rita Lufinha Borges

Rita Lufinha Borges is the ‘Lawyer of the Month’ in the September edition of Advocatus magazine.
The lawyer recently joined the team of partners at Sérvulo & Associados. She tells Advocatus that she hopes to be ‘up to the challenges’ that have been set for her, such as strengthening and contributing to the growth of the transactional area of the real estate department in Portugal and the visibility of Sérvulo Latitude.
On urban licensing, she believes there must be ‘stability’ and a ‘clear regulatory framework.’ The lawyer also believes that, in the 21st century, ‘not being able to identify a particular plot of land/building, its area and exact location, and knowing who the owners are, is something of concern.’
