José Lobo Moutinho takes part in London conference on dawn raids

NEWS AND EVENTS 12 Sep 2016

On this coming Thursday September 15, José Lobo Moutinho takes part in the Antitrust Forum 2016 in London, organised by PaRR Global.

The lawyer, who is a partner in SÉRVULO's Litigation and Arbitration department (focusing on the area of Corporate Crime and Regulatory Compliance), will be one of the speakers on the panel Compliance – the evolution of the dawn raid, which will also include contributions from Andrij Jurkiw, partner at Mishcon de Reya in London, and Olivier Aelterman, Regional Director of Consilio in Brussels.

The panel will debate the current state of the practice of dawn raids, considering that, nowadays, most evidence used in disciplinary competition procedures is electronic. The object of the debate will be, more generally, the impact of technology on this area of practice, with an analysis of the behaviour of companies being investigated and of regulatory entities in search and seizure proceedings, and pointing out the best practices to be adopted by both sides.

PaRR Global is part of the Mergermarket group and it provides intelligence and analysis on the areas of competition law, IP and trade law, and sector-specific regulatory change. Find out more about PaRR Global here.
