NEWS AND EVENTS 19 Mar 2008

Miguel Gorjão-Henriques, partner of SÉRVULO launched his most recent work on the Treaty of Lisbon. In this book, the author, who is one of the leading Portuguese experts in European Law, provides a consolidated version of the European Treaties, identifying the specific origin of practically all amendments introduced by the Treaty of Lisbon.

This work is one of the first in Europe, after the signature of the Treaty of Lisbon, encompassing all the fundamental and structural documents of the development of the union over the past 15 years in a single volume. The work provides a precise and complete picture of the legal evolution of the European Union Treaties during this period.

Published by Almedina, Miguel’s book is the only one of its kind in Portugal and seeks to provide a complete and useful tool of analysis to all those interested in the European integration of Portugal and in the legal evolution of the European Union. The publication is also a useful reference tool in respect of existing legislation which remains applicable before the Treaty of Lisbon comes into force, which is expected on 1 January 2009.
