SÉRVULO Sponsors the 2026 Lusophone Arbitration Congress in Macau

SÉRVULO is sponsoring the 2nd Lusophone Arbitration Congress, which will take place in Macau from 15 to 18 October 2026, bringing together practitioners, academics, arbitrators and representatives of leading institutions from Portuguese-speaking jurisdictions and China to discuss the key challenges and trends shaping international arbitration. The congress is organised by the Lusophone Arbitration and Mediation Association (ALAM), the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration (SCIA) and the South China International Arbitration Center (HK) (SCIAHK), and will be hosted by the University of Saint Joseph.

SÉRVULO will also be represented at the congress by Alexandra Valpaços, Partner in the Litigation and Arbitration Department, who will take part in the programme as a participant in the Under-40 Essay Award Ceremony, promoted by ALAM.

Under the theme“Building Global Platforms for Innovative Justice”, the congress aims to strengthen dialogue and cooperation between Lusophone jurisdictions and China, fostering reflection on the future of arbitration, innovation, sustainability and dispute resolution in an increasingly international environment.
