At SÉRVULO in 2026, she has been an Associate in the Tax Law department. Prior to joining SÉRVULO, she was an Associate at Vieira de Almeida & Associados between 2023 and 2026, where she began her professional career as a trainee lawyer.She holds a Master's degree in Tax Law from the Lisbon School of Law of the Portuguese Catholic University (2022) and a Law degree from the same university (2020). She has been a member of the Portuguese Bar Association since 2023.
Relevant Experience
Representation of individuals and corporate entities before the Portuguese Tax and Customs Authority, including the submission of binding ruling requests, administrative and judicial proceedings challenging the legality of tax assessments, as well as proceedings relating to tax offences and tax enforcement.
Provision of legal advice to national and multinational entities in the financial sector regarding the corporate income tax (CIT) and Stamp Duty treatment of financial transactions, and the challenge of tax assessments in cases involving infringements of European Union law.
Analysis of the VAT treatment of transactions carried out by national and international companies across various sectors of the economy, and assistance with the fulfilment of their tax compliance and reporting obligations.
Support to multinational companies in the healthcare sector in challenging VAT adjustments before CAAD – the Administrative Arbitration Centre.
Provision of legal support to Third Sector entities, particularly Foundations and Associations, on a range of matters relating to CIT, VAT and tax incentives.
Analysis of the tax treatment of transactions in the Angolan financial sector.
