Alberto Saavedra, partner at SÉRVULO in the European and Competition Law department, has been appointed as a Non-Governmental Advisor (NGA) to the Portuguese Competition Authority (AdC) within the International Competition Network (ICN), joining the “Unilateral Conduct” Working Group.
The International Competition Network (ICN) aims to promote cooperation and convergence towards more effective enforcement of competition rules worldwide. The ICN brings together more than one hundred national competition authorities and non-governmental advisors, including lawyers, academics, and representatives of international organisations, trade associations and consumer organisations.
NGAs play an important role in the ICN’s work. They actively contribute to its working groups, including the preparation of work plans, the drafting and review of ICN documents, and participation in meetings and webinars.
The AdC is an active member of the ICN and will host the 26th ICN Annual Conference, which will take place in Estoril from 18 to 21 May 2027.
