Inês Palma Ramalho takes part in World Bank seminar in Istanbul

On the occasion of the Financial Infrastructure Week 2015, an initiative of the World Bank Group, and which took place at the beginning of September, Inês Palma Ramalho, who recently joined SÉRVULO’s Financial & Governance department as an associate, was in Istanbul as a speaker on the panel on insolvency and recovery matters, especially in what concerns the recovery of individuals and sole proprietors.

Before joining SÉRVULO, Inês Palma Ramalho was legal counsel to the Bank of Portugal and to the Office of the Deputy Secretary of State to the Prime Minister, having integrated the team in charge of the coordination and implementation of the international assistance program between Portugal and the International Monetary Fund, the European Commission and the European Central Bank (ESAME - Estrutura de Acompanhamento dos Memorandos). Previously she was also a lawyer at Uría Menéndez – Proença de Carvalho.

Inês Palma Ramalho holds a degree in Law from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon, where she is a guest lecturer, and she has post-graduate qualifications in Financial Markets and Criminal Law from, respectively, the Institute of Economic, Financial and Tax Law (IDEFF - Instituto de Direito Económico, Financeiro e Fiscal) and the Institute of Criminal Law and Criminal Studies (IDPCC - Instituto de Direito Penal e Ciências Criminais).
