Margarida Baptista Matos Joins SÉRVULO’s Litigation & Arbitration Team

SÉRVULO & Associados has strengthened its Litigation & Arbitration team with the addition of lawyer Margarida Baptista Matos, who will focus primarily on commercial, corporate, and civil litigation. With extensive experience in assisting clients in civil and commercial disputes, particularly in matters of contractual and non-contractual liability, Margarida Baptista Matos has, over the past five years, played a key role in defending clients in private enforcement actions and class actions, working in collaboration with international law firms.

The appointment of Margarida Baptista Matos represents a significant enhancement to SÉRVULO’s Litigation & Arbitration department, bringing recognised technical expertise, a pragmatic approach to litigation, and international experience — all of which add value to the team’s work and the service delivered daily to clients.

Over the past decade, Margarida Baptista Matos has practised at Cuatrecasas in Litigation & Arbitration. She holds a Law degree from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon (2016), an Advanced Postgraduate Diploma in Arbitration Law from the same institution, and a Master’s degree in Forensic Law from the Faculty of Law of the Portuguese Catholic University.
