Miguel Brito Bastos publishes book on banking loans

Miguel Brito Bastos, External Counsel at SÉRVULO and researcher at the Private Law Research Centre, of the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon, authored the book “O mútuo bancário - Ensaio sobre a estrutura sinalagmática do contrato mútuo” (“The banking loan: essay on the bilateral structure of the loan agreement”), published by Coimbra Editora.

The author addresses the theme of the significance and relevance of the traditio of the valuta in the constitution of monetary banking loans, the bilateral nature of the loan agreement, interest and other compensation for the availability of the loan capital.
