Pedro Fernández Sánchez coordinates conference on the new Court of Auditors Law

The proposed new Court of Auditors Law, currently under discussion in the Portuguese Parliament, has sparked a broad debate across Portuguese society. In this context, the Lisbon School of Law of Universidade de Lisboa will host, on 7 July, a conference dedicated to the key developments envisaged in this legislative proposal.

The event is organised by Pedro Fernández Sánchez, partner in the Public department at Sérvulo & Associados, Miguel Assis Raimundo and Marco Caldeira, and will include a presentation of the draft law by Rui Medeiros, partner in the Public and Arbitration departments at Sérvulo.

The conference will also feature contributions from the President of the Court of Auditors, Filipa Urbano Calvão, the Vice-President, António Francisco Martins, Judges Helena Abreu Lopes and Miguel Pestana de Vasconcelos, as well as Professors Maria João Estorninho, Mário Aroso de Almeida, Carlos Lobo and Maria d’Oliveira Martins, among other academic experts in the field.
