Rita Canas da Silva moderates panel at the seminar "Pay Equality: Weight and Measure"

 On 26 June, Rita Canas da Silva, partner in charge of the Employment Department at SÉRVULO and Professor at the Faculty of Law of the Catholic University of Lisbon, will take part in the seminar "Pay Equality: Weight and Measure", moderating a panel dedicated to the analysis of practical measures to promote pay equality.

The panel will feature contributions from Sara Casaca, who will address the topic of pay equality; Milena Rouxinol, who will analyse the Pay Transparency Directive and its impact; and Heloísa Perista, who will explore the criteria and methodology for implementing the right to equal pay.

This initiative is promoted by APODIT – the Portuguese Labour Law Association, by CITE (Commission for Equality in Labour and Employment), and by ACT (Authority for Working Conditions), with the support of the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon. It aims to foster in-depth reflection on the impact of current policies and the future challenges in promoting pay equality between women and men.
