NEWS AND EVENTS 02 Aug 2019

João Saúde and Catarina Saramago, partner and lawyer at SÉRVULO, respectively, were invited by the Mozambique Ministry of Transport and Communications to participate in a Q&A session, as part of the public consultation process for the Decree-Law that will set up Mozambique’s Spatial Data Infrastructure.

The session was attended by the Coordinator of the Spatial Development Programme, Odete Semião, and the Inspector General of Mozambique’s Ministry of Transport and Communications, Acissa Carimo. The public consultation runs until August 22.

The creation of the Spatial Data Infrastructure (IDEMOC) will make decision-making processes in public and private entities more efficient. This will lead to enhanced regional integration, international cooperation and the sustainable development of the country's strategic sectors.
