Bruno Miguel Marques

At SÉRVULO since 2019, Bruno Miguel Marques is an associate in the Tax department, where he joined as a trainee lawyer. Completed in 2024 his Master's degree in Tax Law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon, where he also completed a Postgraduation course in Tax Law, in 2018, as well as his Law degree, in 2017. He joined the Bar Association in 2022.

Relevant Experience

Bruno has been advising clients from all over the world on the tax implications of carrying out their economic activity in Portugal, namely in assessing the potential existence of a permanent establishment for CIT and VAT purposes. He has also assisted several companies established in Portugal on CIT, VAT, Property Transfer Tax and Stamp Duty matters, namely in the real estate sector. 

On the private clients desk, Bruno has been advising on tax residence issues, particularly with regard to the special tax regimes and benefits available in Portugal, international double taxation as well as the new rules on the taxation of crypto-assets.
