1st Environmental, Social & Governance Congress

NEWS AND EVENTS 12 May 2025

The 1st Environmental, Social & Governance Congress brings together leading experts in ESG matters and aims to provide a space for reflection on key national and European developments in the field of corporate sustainability. This initiative, organised by Almedina and the Governance Lab, will take place at the Altis Hotel in Lisbon, from 22 to 23 May, under the coordination of Paulo Câmara, Ana Perestrelo de Oliveira, and Ana Filipa Morais Antunes.

Alongside his role as co-coordinator, Paulo Câmara — partner in the Finance and Governance Department at SÉRVULO, Professor at the Faculty of Law of the Catholic University of Portugal, and Coordinator of the Governance Lab — will lead the opening session and deliver a presentation on ‘The Omnibus Legislative Package’.

Rita Canas da Silva, partner in the Employment Law Department at SÉRVULO and Professor at the Faculty of Law of the Catholic University of Portugal, will address the topic ‘The European Regulation on the Prohibition of Forced Labour’.
