Cláudia Castanheira dos Santos strengthens SÉRVULO as new partner

Sérvulo & Associados has strengthened its Financial Law department with the appointment of Cláudia Castanheira dos Santos as partner. She joins from Morais Leitão, further enhancing a team recognised both nationally and internationally for its leadership in complex, high-profile structured transactions.
According to Manuel Magalhães, Managing Partner and partner in the firm’s Financial and Governance department, “the integration of Cláudia Castanheira dos Santos represents a strategic step for SÉRVULO. A leading practitioner in structured finance and project finance, Cláudia Castanheira dos Santos brings over two decades of experience advising on critical domestic and international transactions. She is particularly noted for her ability to manage high-level stakeholders and to translate complex technical matters into clear, actionable decisions.
Her experience extends to public-private partnership project finance, real estate finance and debt restructuring. She has also been actively involved in private equity transactions and investment funds, and has extensive experience in corporate law and capital markets. More recently, she has focused her practice on Angola and Mozambique.
Cláudia Castanheira dos Santos holds a Law degree from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon (2000), an LL.M. in International Business Law from the Faculty of Law of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa (2017), and a postgraduate qualification in Aviation Law from NOVA University Lisbon (2007). She also completed an Executive Programme in Project Management at NOVA SBE in 2024.
