Pedro Fernández Sánchez coordinates Conference on the Revision of the Public Contracts Code

The Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon hosted, on 16 June, leading national experts in public procurement for an in-depth discussion on the draft revision of the Public Contracts Code, which will substantially amend the current public procurement framework.

At the Conference, coordinated by Pedro Fernández Sánchez, Partner in the Public Law department at SÉRVULO and Professor at the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon, who delivered a presentation on the general assessment of the legislative reform, João Amaral e Almeida also intervened, addressing the new phased evaluation regime for tenders, and Paula Bordalo Faustino, who presented the new rules regarding the optional nature of the base price and the introduction of negative scoring of tenders.
