SÉRVULO strengthens its leadership in M&A with the integration of Alexandra M. Martins and Mariana Brazão

Sérvulo & Associados’ Corporate and M&A practice has further strengthened its market position with two strategic additions to the team. Alexandra M. Martins joins as a new partner, while Mariana Brazão joins as a Senior Associate.

With nearly 20 years of experience, Alexandra M. Martins has been involved in some of the most significant M&A transactions, both at national and international level, as well as in privatisation processes. She joins from Cuatrecasas, where she became a partner in 2023. Her practice has focused on advising national and multinational clients across a wide range of sectors, including consumer goods, agribusiness, healthcare, telecommunications, media, concessions and infrastructure.
She holds a Law degree from the University of Coimbra and an Advanced Master’s in International Business Law from the Portuguese Catholic University.
Mariana Brazão also joins from Cuatrecasas and brings over eight years of experience in corporate and M&A matters, advising national and international clients, particularly in the food and beverage, agribusiness, healthcare and tourism sectors.
She was a visiting assistant lecturer at the University of Lisbon. She holds a Law degree from the same university and a postgraduate qualification in Insolvency Law.
