Sérvulo advises Ministry of Defence on the acquisition of five KC-390 aircraft for the Portuguese Air Force

On Thursday 22 August, the signing ceremony for the acquisition and maintenance contracts for five KC-390 aircraft was held in Évora. The purchase and maintenance of these aircraft, which will replace the Hercules C-130, involves a total investment of 827 million euros. The five aircraft will be supplied by Embraer, with components made in Portugal, at the Évora and OGMA (Alverca) units. The deal also includes the acquisition of a flight simulator and aircraft maintenance for the first 12 years of service.

Francisca Mendes da Costa represented SÉRVULO at the signing ceremony. Together with Mark Kirkby, he has been advising the State during the negotiations with Embraer for the last two years.
