Djamila Pinto de Andrade

Djamila Pinto de Andrade is an Angolan lawyer and partner of LEAD Advogados, specialising in Commercial, Corporate, Financial Law and Capital Markets.
She has a degree in Law from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon (2002), a Postgraduation from the Faculty of Law of the Portuguese Catholic University (2006) and a Postgraduation in Financial Markets from the Agostinho Neto University (2011).
Djamila was part of the Commercial Companies Law Reform Commission, a subcommittee of the Justice and Law Reform created by the Angolan Executive.
Djamila is the head of the Corporate Law and Private Investment practice area. She is experienced in structuring M&A operations and in corporate restructuring in general, as well as in transformations, dissolutions and liquidation of corporate structures, having led the advisory to various projects in Angola or transnational with impact on the Angolan jurisdiction, acting as local counsel.
Djamila often acts in both private and sovereign financing processes, and in parallel advising local and international banks and regulatory authorities on capital markets implementation. She also participated as local lawyer in Angola's three Eurobonds issuances.
She has represented several clients in structuring processes of collective investment schemes and investment funds in various configurations, including in the incorporation and assembly of funds and in related regulatory aspects.
