Victor Calvete

At SÉRVULO since 2020, Victor Calvete is a consultant in the European and Competition Law department. He is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Law of the University of Coimbra, where he concluded his PhD in 2018, as well his Master's Degree in 1998 and his Graduation in 1985. He is an Arbitrator in tax matters at the Centre for Administrative Arbitration (CAAD). He held management positions at the Comissão para o Acompanhamento dos Auxiliares de Justiça (CAAJ – the regulatory body for private paralegal professions), between 2014 and 2017, and at Taguspark – the Science and Technology Park of the Lisbon Area, between 2011 and 2014. Advisor to His Excellency the President of the Portuguese Republic in 2006; to the Portuguese Constitutional Court between 1995 and 2006; to the Secretary of State of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers between 1991 and 1995 and to the Secretary for Justice Affairs of the Government of Macao between 1990 and 1991. He was also a panel member of the adjudicatory board of the first Portuguese competition authority between 1994 e 2003.
