Inês Palma Ramalho, associate in SÉRVULO's Finance and Governance department, published an article entitled "Insolvency of Investment Funds: A Much Needed Legal Reform" in volume 3, number 11 of Revista de Direito Financeiro e dos Mercados de Capitais. 

The author analyses the legal regime applicable to the insolvency of a collective investment undertaking incorporated as an investment fund. As such, it addresses several practical issues resulting from the application of the Insolvency and Recovery Act and discusses the feasibility of defining a specific insolvency regime that would govern these types of investment structures.
