Mariana Afonso e Cunha

At SÉRVULO since 2025, Mariana Afonso e Cunha is a senior associate in the firm’s Public Law department. Mariana holds a master’s degree in law from the Lisbon School of the Portuguese Catholic University, with a thesis entitled “Legality, merit and equity in the arbitration of administrative acts” (2015). Mariana graduated in law from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisboa in 2012. Mariana’s academic training also includes postgraduate courses and workshops in several areas of Administrative Law, such as Artificial Intelligence in Public Procurement (Copenhagen, 2024), Airport, Rail and Road Public Domain (2024), Administrative Procedure Law (2018 and 2019) and Public Procurement and Competition (2016). She was a lawyer at Vieira de Almeida between 2016 and 2025, having done her traineeship at Macedo Vitorino. Member of the Portuguese Bar Association since 2015.
