Excellence for the Lisbon Centre for Research in Public Law

The FCT (Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia) recently announced the results of the assessments of university research units, oversight by panels of evaluators from foreign universities of reference.

The Lisbon Centre for Research in Public Law was the only research centre of a Faculty of Law in a Portuguese University to merit the classification of "Excellent". The evaluation criteria were the quality and internationalization of the activities; merit of the research team; objectives, strategy, plan of activities and organization.

The Scientific Coordinator of Lisbon Centre for Research in Public Law is the well-known constitutionalist Professor Carlos Blanco de Morais. Professor Sérvulo Correia presides over the Scientific Council and directs the Centre’s electronic Journal "e-Public.
