Sérvulo advises Liga Portugal on audiovisual rights

SÉRVULO, through a multidisciplinary team within its Sports sector led by partner Miguel Gorjão?Henriques, has been advising Liga Portugal and Liga Centralização on the implementation process of the decree-law that, in 2021, established the centralised commercialisation of audiovisual rights of the clubs and sports companies of Liga Portugal Betclic (First League) and Liga MeuSuper (Second League).

The process reached a new and decisive milestone on 8th June, in Porto, with the approval, at the Liga Portugal General Assembly, of the resolution defining the revenue distribution mechanism among clubs for the first five-year cycle, covering the seasons from 2028–2029 to 2032–2033, approved by a broad majority of 80%.
