Rita Canas da Silva lectures the 1st Postgraduate Course in European Union Social Law

The CIDP – Private Law Research Centre of the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon is hosting the 1st Postgraduate Course in European Union Social Law, coordinated by Pedro Madeira Brito and Isabel Vieira Borges, taking place between January and June 2026. 

The course is structured into seven modules and focuses on the key topics of European Union Social Law, covering areas such as employment relationships, equality and remuneration, working time, labour rights, and duties, as well as contractual changes and collective labour law. 

On 26 May, Rita Canas da Silva, partner and head of the Employment department at SÉRVULO, will lecture a session dedicated to the topic “Transfer of undertakings, collective redundancies and insolvency”.
